What are your prices?

My custom decorated cookies start at $45 per dozen, please see my pricing page for more information.

Can I have cookies made and ready two days from now?

I am unfortunately unable to produce custom decorated cookies in this time frame. 

If I am not fully booked, the quickest I am able to accomodate a rush order, start to finish is 4 days.

What is the ordering process like?

I recieve your message or order form and will respond as soon as I can during regular business hours. You may get a response outside of business hours but often you will need to wait for a response until the next business day.

We will have a conversation about the type of event, theme, colours, etc, and if you had anything specific in mind.

I will draw a design up for you with shapes of cookies and designs to be sent to you for approval. If any changes need to be made, a new, improved design will be sent. Please see my terms and conditions page for more information about design changes.

Once the design is approved, an invoice will be sent to you. A 50% deposit is due before the date shown on the invoice. The other 50% is due the day before pick-up or delivery for an e-transfer, or at pick-up or delivery for cash. Please see my terms and conditions page for more information about invoicing.

What can I expect to be included in my order?

My general dozen includes 4 or 5 different designed cookies. The design I send you can include either regular size (3.5 to 5 inches) or mini size (1.5 to 2.5 inches) cookies. The total cookie count may be more than the order amount if I have included mini cookies in your order. For example, 1 regular cookie can equal 2 or 3 mini cookies.

All orders are individually heat sealed in a cellophane bag and placed in a window top box. Coordinated ribbon can be added as an additional option.

Are your cookies sugar cookies or shortbread cookies?

My custom decorated cookies are sugar cookies.

Do your cookies contain nuts/allergens?

My standard vanilla sugar cookie, as well as some flavour variations do not contain nuts, however, my kitchen is not nut free.

There are some specialty flavours that do contain nuts or extracts. Please see my ingredients page for a list of ingredients in each flavour variation.

The same applies for other allergens/allergies.

What type of icing do you use on your cookies?

I use a soft bite royal icing on all of my decorated cookies.

This icing contains meringue powder, please see my ingredients page for more information.

What is the shelf life of your cookies?

The decorated sugar cookies will not go bad, however, they will begin to get hard and stale. I generally instruct freezing if pick-up or delivery is more than 4 or 5 days before event to ensure fresh, soft cookies. Please see freezing FAQ for more information.

Can I freeze your cookies after pick-up or delivery?

You can absolutely freeze your cookies after pick-up or delivery. They freeze really well and do not lose softness or flavour.

Here's how:

Remove cookies from windowtop box and place, carefully into a hard container that can be sealed to prevent crushing. 

Place in freezer. 

When ready to thaw, remove from the freezer the day before event.

Leave the container sealed and at room temperature. Leaving the container sealed will prevent condensation. 

Once all the cookies are at room temperature you can open the container and remove cookies.

Do you do large orders?

I do accept large orders if my schedule permits.

Do you discount for large orders?

I do not discount for large orders. 

​

The time it takes to complete large orders, and materials/ingredients required are more than standard orders. 

​

Can I add gourmet cookies onto my order of custom decorated cookies?

Absolutely, I want your event and experience with me to be the best it can be, so I will try and accomodate anything, the best I can!
